Philips Zoom DayWhite and NiteWhite whitening gels are designed to be used with properly fitted teeth whitening trays.
Follow these simple steps for the best results.
1. Brush & Floss Your Teeth
Brush and floss your teeth before each whitening treatment to remove plaque and food debris.
2. Prepare the Whitening Gel
Remove the protective cap from the Philips Zoom syringe and attach the mixing nozzle.
3. Apply the Gel
Place a small drop of whitening gel into the front-facing area of each tooth compartment you wish to whiten.
Less is more. You only need a small amount of gel for each tooth. Overfilling your trays can cause the gel to come into contact with your gums and may cause irritation.
4. Insert Your Whitening Trays
Carefully place the trays over your teeth and gently press them into position.
If any excess gel comes out of the tray and onto your gums, gently wipe it away.
5. Leave the Trays in Place
Your treatment time depends on the Philips Zoom formula you are using:
DayWhite 6% Hydrogen Peroxide
30 minutes once daily.
DayWhite 9.5% Hydrogen Peroxide
30 minutes once daily.
NiteWhite 10% Carbamide Peroxide
4–6 hours once daily or overnight.
NiteWhite 16% Carbamide Peroxide
4–6 hours once daily or overnight.
NiteWhite 22% Carbamide Peroxide
4–6 hours once daily or overnight.
Always follow the instructions supplied with your specific product or the treatment schedule recommended by your dental professional.

6. Remove & Rinse
After your treatment time is complete:
- Remove the whitening trays.
- Rinse your mouth and brush your teeth to remove any remaining gel.
- Rinse your trays thoroughly using cold water.
- Allow the trays to dry before storing them safely.
Never clean your whitening trays with hot water or place them in a dishwasher, as heat can cause the trays to lose their shape.
Helpful Tips
Do not eat, drink or smoke while wearing your whitening trays.
Do not use more gel in an attempt to achieve faster results. Using too much gel or exceeding the recommended treatment time can increase the risk of tooth sensitivity and gum irritation without improving your results.
Some temporary tooth sensitivity can occur during teeth whitening. If you experience significant or persistent sensitivity or irritation, stop treatment and speak to your dentist or dental professional.
Keep Philips Zoom whitening gel out of the reach of children. Do not swallow the whitening gel.
Important
Philips Zoom whitening products should be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and the advice of your dental professional. Whitening gel is designed to whiten natural tooth structure; fillings, crowns, veneers and other restorations will not whiten in the same way.
